Challenge: Money Resolution: Debt Free by 2022

77

I have debt. Don’t we all? Nothing to be ashamed of I guess, but I want out. Also, immigrating to Scotland sometime in 2022, I want to be free of debt for a good fresh start. I think the only debt I will have when I go is my school debt. *le sigh*

So all other debt, I want to pay by the end of 2021. Thus, I make this statement:

I resolve to be debt free by midnight December 31, 2021.

Super happy that I started off early (again) on one of my challenges. Today, I paid off $390 on a debt. Off to a good start. I can’t wait to achieve this resolution and be basically debt free by 2022!

So this is looking like I won’t make it. I mean I might, but we are trying to move to Scotland so I probably need to save money into my account vs. paying off debts! But we will see. I am still PAYING OFF the debts, just might not make my totally debt free goal.

    1. Car – only 12 payments left.
    2. Credit Card 1 – 100% PAID
    3. Credit Card 2 – 75% PAID
    4. Credit Card 3 – 15% PAID
    5. Computer Loan – 10% PAID
    6. Fingerhut Loan – 25% PAID
    7. School Loan – 65% PAID

New Plan! Everything going on in 2020 kind of set me back on my goal. 2021 is looking much better, but I am still recovering from the 2020 crap. All that said, I have a new plan. I am going to try doing some delivery stuff for Uber Eats a couple nights a week to see if I can earn some extra money to throw right at debt repayment. Its not that I couldn’t eventually pay the debts off without doing this. But if I do this, I can do it faster! And I am impatient! 🙂 Let’s see how that goes.
